Pictures of Lakeside Meadow

Surrounded by mature trees you will find yourself in the midst of nature.

October 2020 showing the new access road and hard standing on all 5 pitches a few days after completion.

The meadow grass in this image has taken some wearing during the work but will be soon lush and green as you know and love from our CL.

Our beautiful lake and ponds beyond make for a tranquil setting for your stay.

Plenty of space amongst the trees

We have had the odd wedding too! However we don't do weddings anymore!

We are very lucky to have this beautiful Oak Tree which marks the Parish boundary situated on Lakeside Meadow.

October 2020

We set out a new access road and made each of the 5 pitches hard standing.

It took us just under 5 days to complete and we worked from first light each day to into the dark. We had the fourtune of reasonable weather (we did not get too wet) and with hard work made good progress.

Pitch 1 Access

Pitch one now has it's own access.

Here Tim is on the digger and Neil is waiting on the Dumper truck to be loaded up.

New Access Road

The new road on day one being dug out, this now gives access to pitches 2 - 5

Hard Standing

Digging out the hard standing.

Above Clive is sitting on his dumper truck being loaded with soil from pitch 3

Plenty of space amongst the trees

Over the winter of 2018/19 we have been making some improvements by adding an invisible roadway to the site, as you can see in these pictures the grids are laid on top of the grass to assemble and then when it's good and wet we roll them into the ground so they will support motorhomes and cars during the dampest days.

Here we show the matting down for the bays, if you notice where I've taken the picture from I'm standing on the new road now rolled in.

Sun is shining, grass is growing and a weekly mow makes Lakeside look amazing!

We even have a firepit for you to use
